• I provide additional services related to information, research, technical analysis, and written descriptions for circulating contemporary counterfeit U.S. coins.  

 

Types of Services:

• Research:

  • Service Details:

    • Extensive background research.

    • Professionally written and edited analysis.

    • Relevant images are included in analysis (if applicable).

    • Bibliography and references.

    • Final product is provided electronically via email or FTP site (only after the final bill has been paid).

  • Copyright:

    • I retain all copyrights to the research, writing, and publishing.

  • Contract:

    • Completed, agreed upon, and signed between both the client and researcher before work begins. The contract shall include, but is not limited to:

      • The specific type of work to be performed.

      • The estimated quantity of hours until completion.

      • Project date deadlines as identified by the customer.

        • Rushed projects may be billed at a higher rate than those listed above.​

  • Costs:

    • Standard research and writing is billed at a rate of $80/hour (charged in 15-minute increments).

    • Rushed research and writing is billed at a rate of $120/hour (charged in 15-minute increments).

    • 50% of estimated costs in the contract are due up-front, with the balance due upon completion of the project.

    • Any unused estimated time and expenses to complete the research will be refunded to the client.

    • Any additional time or potential costs (i.e. paywall subscriptions or databases) required to complete the work, in addition to the estimate in the original contract, will be promptly discussed with the client, and the original contract may be amended accordingly.

  • Guarantee​:

    • There is no guarantee that ​once a contract is signed and research commences that results will be found which the client is requesting.  In these circumstances the researcher will contact the client to discuss amending or terminating the original contract. In such cases, only the time spent undergoing the research will be billed, and the results of that research will be provided to the client. Any money which was not billed will be refunded to the client.

  • Counterfeit coin descriptions, such as for auction catalogs, resale websites, etc.

  • Charged at 20-cents per word (negotiable).
