This is a rare 2-year 8 Reales type produced in 1820 and 1821 by the Bogota, Columbia mint. Finding a contemporary counterfeit of this type is extremely rare. I found my first example nearly a decade ago and have been searching for a second example ever since. Well, this second example recently came my way. Both examples I've seen have a hole in them and were struck on nearly identical German silver alloy planchets.
