1828 D.7-G (Z6-BO) is from the Mexican Head family. All documented examples were struck on German silver planchets. Currently, there are about 4-5 known examples of this die marriage.
The example shown has VG+ details, but has some problems. It was holed and plugged at about 1 o'clock. The obverse has thin knife scratches in the form of a star-shape. I guess I can only say that this piece survived as it did, and at least it survived. If you like pedigrees, this example was the Davignon 1st Edition plate coin with pedigrees to Chuck Erb, Mark Glazer, and David Kahn.
