All contemporary counterfeit Capped Bust Quarters are rare. Despite 10 varieties documented (4 hand-made dies, 6 transfer dies; casts not included but are similarly rare), the total documented population is around 25 pieces. As such, this is the first time I've ever had the opportunity to sell this type of contemporary counterfeit
 
1834 TD.2-TD.H is marginally more 'common' than all the other CBQ varieties with 4 examples documented. All were struck on brass planchets (I think yellow brass). This example shows nice VG/F obverse details but AG/Pr reverse details. The surfaces are not bad for probably being at least 175 years old. Pricing this type has essentially no comparison as very few have ever sold publicly.
