1860-O TD.1-TD.T is a transfer die counterfeit struck on a brass planchet. This is 1 of 23 transfer die counterfeit Seated half dollar varieties currently documented. This is only the 2nd documented example of this variety which was first recorded in December 2024 (both examples from the same collection). The existing population of this variety is likely less than 10 and may not be more than 5.
This is a particularly weakly struck example, especially in the central details, but wear also accounts for the lack of details being visible.
