The 1899-S TD.1-TD.C Barber half dollar counterfeit is an interesting contemporary countereit from this period. It was struck on a German silver planchet, unusual (but not unheard of) for such a later die struck counterfeit type. And the reverse die is boldly cracked. A total of 6 examples have now been documented to date. I've offered 2 other examples in the past, both sold quickly, and I'm happy to have a second example available in 2025.
 
This example is quite average in appearance for this variety. It may have been cleaned because the surfaces are quite shiny, or maybe that is just counterfeit luster!
