The Micro O family of contemporary counterfeit Morgan dollars consists of 38 die struck varieties (as of December 2025) of which the Micro O reverse (TD.A) was first documented in the 1960s. Since then, other varieties associated with this family, mostly through overlapping die use, have ballooned the quantity of varieties. Nevertheless, the Micro O reverse varieties remain the most popular, sought after, and easy to attribute.
 
This is a wholesome example of the 1902-O VAM 3 (TD.1-TD.A) variety in Fine details. The only distracting mark is the dark spot on the obverse.
