The 1907 TD.1-TD.C Barber dime contemporary counterfeit was struck on a brass planchet and thinly silver plated. Only 1 example of this variety has been seen with more than 50% of its silver plating remaining. While currently classified as a singleton, this variety is likely associated with a larger operation making brass planchet transfer die counterfeits in the early 20th century. In total, about half a dozen examples of this variety have been documented to date.
 
This example is evenly worn. It has some surface marks on the obverse and reverse. Overall, contemporary counterfeit Barber dimes are rarely encountered and this could be a nice example for your collection.
