The 1914 TD.1-TD.F is a transfer die struck contemporary counterfeit WLH variety struck on a sterling silver planchet. This variety is part of the family nicknamed 'The Odd One' because the 3 known varieties (1914, 1915, 1916) all have a weirdly shaped '1', because that number ended up being altered from either a 3 (i.e. 1930s dated host coins). This counterfeiter likely made these during the Depression when, among other things, silver prices dropped.
This is 1 of 2 examples of this variety I've documented for this fantasy-dated counterfeit, similar to the 1915, but multiples rarer. All examples seen from all 3 varieties from this family are low-grade appearing coins, often with an uglier surface appearance. Tiny, micro dots raised on the surface is a feature of these counterfeits.
