Here's a cool hand-made die struck counterfeit Cap and Rays 8 reales variety.  This piece has an anomalous and fantasy 'X' where the mint mark is supposed to be located.  Thus, this piece was struck at the X counterfeit mint! Anomalous mint marks are somewhat scarce on counterfeit C&R 8 reales, but the X is one of the most obnoxious ones for the type.
