This variety was not listed in Riddell's 1845 Monograph.  However, this variety is part of a larger counterfeit family, and at least one other variety is known with this same obverse but paired with a different reverse. This example has a cracked planchet.  The details are evenly worn.  And I would estimate that the planchet is German silver.
