Currently, only 2 or 3 examples of this variety have yet been documented. This variety was struck on a brass planchet and was gold plated. However, this example shows advanced wear with very little or none of the original gold plating remaining. Die workmanship was quite good, although some of the date and letter punches are noticeably incorrect if you know your 1850s Liberty gold. In sum, I cannot guarantee I will see or have available another example of this variety in the next 5 or 10+ years, so if you are interested you should consider this scarce variety for your collection.
