Overall details are approximately VF or better.  However, the obverse is a bit rough possibly as a result of surface corrosion but the unevenness of the gold plating which remains does not help visibility.  The reverse is relatively attractive with most of the original gold plating remaining.  This is a fairly affordable example of decent contemporary counterfeit gold dollar.
