This is the ever-popular 1861/88 Z6-R variety from the Star-Shield Amateur family. I have a hard time finding examples of this variety and when I do they seem to sell somewhat quickly because of the bold overdate. This example shows strong details overall with some weakness at the periphery which is not uncommon for this variety. The planchet is a little wavy on account of being in circulation - which is also a common characteristic of genuine 3cS's on account of their thin planchet. Overall, this is an attractive example of this popular variety which I'm happy to have back in stock.
